According to the article, “The 21st Century Insurance World Set for Change,” insurance sectors are having trouble keeping up with the Milennials, while trying to adapt for existing customers. Technology is all about making life more convenient. Whether it’s in the household or workplace, computers control it. Without a computer, you don’t exist in this world. Currently, service industries are depending on the computers and technology to appease their customers’ demands. Banks, restaurants, department stores and many more have Web sites for their consumers to search and communicate, without having to drive to a meeting or waste time on the phone. Nevertheless, insurance companies especially, can’t fall behind the ever-changing world of IT

Online services such as web-based support and instant messaging allow consumers and insurance agents to have a more proactive relationship, thus ensuring quality service. Likewise, they need to guarantee innovative ways to keep existing customers aligned with the new technological services. Insurance companies need to keep up with the today’s youth, especially as young adults are entering the working world and searching for high-quality insurance. Without interactive communication and a credible Web site, a meeting in person or a customer care call will not reel in more people. The world is getting younger, not older.
